Beyond Words

Love is a feeling that goes beyond mere words. Sometimes love can come without warning, but once it is found it is an indescribable feeling. This was the case 9 years ago when Natalie and Jemarcus initially crossed paths. What seemed to be an innocent introduction by Natalie’s sister, and Jemarcus’ co-worker, ignited an everlasting flame that still burns today. The two bonded over their interest for Psychology and human connection, as Natalie had just finished her Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health at Spelman and Jemarcus was attaining his Master’s degree in Professional Counseling at UWG.

Realignment

As the two made a conscious decision to focus on their career paths, it wasn’t until 4 years later that their paths would realign. As we know, that God’s timing is never early and never late. In 2022, the two embarked on their first European trip with close friends in celebration of Natalie’s 30th birthday. While visiting Paris, France, unbeknownst to Natalie, Jemarcus planned a fairytale proposal of a lifetime.

She said YES in the city of love!
